Got shoes?

Our St. Juliana Girl Scout troops are sponsoring a shoe drive to benefit Soles for Souls, a non-profit organization focused on sending much-needed footwear to the 300 million shoeless children throughout the world. The group is currently working to meet the needs of the earthquake victims in Haiti. For that purpose, our Girl Scouts will be collecting new and gently-used shoes via collection boxes in the back of church, school and parish center. 

Please bring your shoe donations (flip-flops and clogs are the most useful!) to any of those locations between February 21 and March 7.

 If you don't have shoes to spare, monetary donations are also needed, as it costs roughly $1.50 per pair to ship to the nearest Soles for Souls distribution center in Iowa, in preparation for shipment to Haiti. Monetary donations can be directed to school or the parish office, attention: Soles for Souls; checks should be payable to St. Juliana Parish.
