Math - Flaschards

* We will be taking our unit test this week, so there will be no spelling or reading test.

* May Crowning is on Thursday at 1:00. The second graders will be singing a song. Please be in uniform.

* Friday is Mother's Club Hot Lunch.

*On every Friday until the end of the year (except for June 6th; Mass) we will be out of uniform because of pop tops!!

* I hope that all you Mom's had a lovely Mother's Day!!

Spelling - Sentences due tomorrow.

Reading - Reread story for test tomorrow.

* Tomorrow is out of uniform.

* May Crowning is next Thursday, May 15th at 1:00. The 2nd grade will be singing a song on the altar. They will not be coming in their Communion outfit.

Math - Flashcards and if you didn't hand in the homework due yesterday, it is due by tomorrow.

* Thanks again Mr. Ruiz, Mrs. Mulvey, and Mrs. Pritt for coming with us to the museum!! I hope that you all enjoyed it!!

* Don't forget playdoh.

* Don't forget to bring a lunch with drink in a ziploc bag with your name on it. Be in uniform.

* For our field trip Wednesday, bring a lunch and drink in a ziploc bag labeled with your name. Remember to be in uniform.

* We will be making fossils, so it would be appreciated if you can bring in clay or playdoh by Thursday!!

* We are starting to write our rough drafts of an expository essay tomorrow. If you don't already have the title, author, and illustrator (if there is one) of your favorite book, bring it in tomorrow written down or the actual book.

Religion - pg. 81. It asks the parent(s) to write an encouraging letter to their child and asks for a Communion picture. If you don't have them developed yet, your child will be bringing the book home by the end of the week because it's just about completed.

*Please be in uniform on Wednesday for Mass.

* The second grade teachers are attending a conference tomorrow, so I will not be here.

* There is no school for the students on Friday, so we will be having our tests on Thursday.

* The children did such a good job at Communion!! I'm very proud of them. They worked so hard!

* The big day is just about here! The kids did a great job at practice today and thank you again Mrs. Kealy, Mrs. Murphy, and Mrs. Ryan for hanging our beautiful banners!!

* I will see your beautifully dressed little angels tomorrow at 10:30 in the classroom! Enjoy your celebrations after!
