In honor of Pirate Week, please have the students dress up in their pirate gear on Friday, May 16th. The students can wear hats, eye patches or shirts. We will have the students show everyone in a show-and-tell.

If available, we may need extra help the last week of May to help clean all of the toys. Please let myself or Mrs. Starzec know if you can help.

It is hard to believe that May is here so soon! We have been working on our "God Created" book and the students have been learning about the seven days of creation. We are looking forward to our field trip to St. Patrick's High School for the play, "Jack and the Beanstalk".

June 2nd will be our final class picnic held at Pioneer Park in Niles. At the picnic, the students will sing their Mother's Day and Father's Day songs.

This week we will be learning about transportation. On Friday, please have your students bring in their favorite car, train or plane for show and tell. Also, please take a look at the Preschool Weekly that will be going home on Wednesday. There will be some information regarding our next field trip!

This week we will be learning about bugs and insects. On Friday, we would like the children to bring in their favorite stuffed insect or bug. So please pull out the stuffed frogs and caterpillars so the students could share them with their friends. Thank you!!

This week we are learning about the ocean and all of the creatures that live in the water! The students painted a fish on Monday and on Wednesday they will get to make a "sandy starfish".

Reminders:
Our St. Patrick's Day Party is Monday, March 17th and our Easter Party is Wednesday, March 19th. Two parties in one week, could life get any better?

The preschoolers had a great time at their Valentine's Day Party. A special thank you to Mrs. Rawa and Mrs. Schurer for helping us on Wednesday!!!



Reminder: School will not be in session on 2/18 and 2/29.



Next week the students will be learning about their teeth.

We are having a great time learning about winter time!



****We made snowflakes and snowmen out of marshmallows.

****We had a class vote on mittens vs. gloves. Mittens won!

****This week we will continue on our winter time theme.



A newsletter will go home on Wednesday, Jan. 16th.

We had a great time this week talking and learning about our families!!



Next week we will be learning about Community Helpers. We started learning our new songs for the Christmas Show. We hope everyone could join us! Remember it is December 21st.

We had a great Halloween and the students did a wonderful job performing. Thank you to all the families that came to see them!!



Our color this week is brown. We will not have show and tell on Monday or Wednesday this week. Instead, please have your students bring in their favorite brown toy on Friday to share with the rest of the class.



Our first field trip will be on Wednesday, November 7th. Thank you for setting time aside to come with us. The students will really enjoy the morning. Please arrive at the regular school time, the bus will leave around 8:30.
