Memories!

Graduation was a beautiful ceremony! Good luck to all of our new alumni. Thank you for the gifts, good wishes, smiles and hugs. I really liked the quote," Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened!"

I gave the seventh graders a challenge: to read a president's biography and watch GONE WITH THE WIND over the summer.

Be safe and enjoy the time.

Are We Having Fun?

I'm sure you have had these thoughts. Somedays I wonder why I do this job. Somedays I am pleased that I do this job. This week the eight grade had a quiz. One student went to the Cubs game the evening before the quiz;however, he took along his social studies book! The day of the quiz he walked over to my desk with my open computer upon it and asked if I would like to see a photo of him at the park. I responded,"Why, yes!" There to my great pleasure was my student with his social studies book at Wrigley!!
