Parish Sock and Underwear Drive for Children

Boy Scout Troop 965, along with the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, Saint Juliana Missionary Spirit Team, Saint Juliana School, and the parish Religious Education program, are holding our annual parish sock drive.

The recent influx of refugees to Chicago has brought a increased need for socks and underwear for children. Our goal is to collect 1500 pairs of socks and 500 pairs of children’s underwear.

During the weekends of January 21/22 and January 28/29, we will be collecting socks and children’s underwear after all Masses.

We are asking for your help! Warm clean socks and underwear are critically important to the homeless and refugees, especially during these cold winter months.

* Please consider donating brand NEW socks and underwear for children which will be donated to Cornerstone Community Outreach in Uptown.

* What we need: Socks and underwear for refugee children.

* In lieu of new socks or underwear, we will also accept monetary donations to purchase these items.

* Boy Scouts will be in the back of church to accept donations.

We are very grateful for your generous support.
