Sit & Knit - Shawl Ministry
If you love to knit or crochet, please join us as we gather together to knit and crochet prayer shawls for those who are homebound, in the hospital or bereaved, combined into a prayerful ministry that reaches out to those members of our church in need of comfort and solace. Many blessings are knitted into every shawl. A message of encouragement and words of comfort and blessings will be shared with the person when it is delivered. Just as Jesus daily wraps us in His love and peace, we, as His servants, If it is difficult to meet, and would like to knit a prayer shawl or baby blanket in your home, please drop it off at the parish office, we thank you. Yarn donations are also appreciated.
Meetings: The 2nd Thursday of the month, 9:30-11:00am in the parish center.
