Grade 8 Math-Mrs. Stapleton Assignments

I will be collecting the WS on Thursday.  Some of you have not completed the inequality i-ready lesson.  
Everyone needs an i-ready lesson finished by Friday at 3:00 to count for this week.  

Today's Assignment:  You will need your Blue Algebra Book.  Ms. Arianas has a few of them. 
1.  Do pg. 33( all)
2. If finished, work on i-ready.

Ms. Arianas has a sheet for you to complete. You will have today and tomorrow to complete the activity. Use your book if you don't remember how to do something.  The section on Absolute Value with help you with some of the problems.
Please show all work on the attached LL paper.
If you finish during the class, work on i-ready.  One lesson is required for this week.

You are to complete these in order.  
1) Finish evens on pg. 48
2) Correct pgs. 46-47
3) Complete the i-ready lesson ( solve inequalities).  It is under Teacher Assigned. might  be a past lesson.  If you have already completed this lesson, do another inequality lesson.  You must complete 1 lesson tomorrow or Wednesday( it is being graded) 
4) Read pages 340-343
Do pg. 343 ( 5-14)

If you don't finish this today, it is not homework.  

Finish any work from yesterday that you did not complete.  Read over pages 340 -341.
Do pg. 343 ( 1,3, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12) in your notebook.  
All work from Tuesday and Wednesday is due on Thursday.
If  you did not turn in Practice 6.1 please give it to me today.


There will be a quiz on Friday ( 6.1-6.2) Solving one-step and multi-step linear inequalities.

Complete the  slides.  You do not have to use the tiles, just have to simplify the  linear expression.

You should  be in Ms. Arianas' class.  If I finish with my meeting, I will come and get you

2) When finished, Do pg 125 (1-39/odd) in your NB
3) If you finish all of that, work on i-ready.  None of you have completed the 2 lessons for this week.  So therefore, all of you have either a 0 or 50% for your grade in i-ready.

You will need your blue algebra books to start.  Aiden and Jake, please ask Ms. Arianas for  your book
1)  Make sure that pages 9, 10, 11, and 12 are all completed and corrected.  Then do pages 19 and 21.  You can look in your book if you do not know the properties.

2)If you have enough time, read pages 108 - 110 ( Dividing Numbers).  This will be our last section in Chapter 2.  There will be a test coming up after Thanksgiving.  

You should be in Ms. Arianas' class right now.
1)Finish Practice 2.5 ( it will be collected Monday. All work done on LL) Use your book pgs. 94-96 for guidance.
2) Do the Mixed Review on pg. 98 (76-97/all)
If you finish, work on i-ready.

2) Finish Notetaking Guides from yesterday, if not completed.

Fill in Notetaking Guide using information on those pages.
