*From the T.E.A.M. committee:

Dear Parents,

This past Friday we kicked off this years’ T.E.A.M. initiative.  We are excited to continue to bring and demonstrate our school spirit for St. Juliana.

Last year, each student received a T-shirt of their T.E.A.M. color which is expected to be worn at all of our T.E.A.M. events.  We understand that some shirts might have been misplaced or the student outgrew their shirt. Also, we have heard that some of the shirts might be too oversized.  When we ordered the shirts last summer we hoped that those shirts would last a few years, especially for the younger students.

Each year, the school will provide a free T.E.A.M.shirt to the students in Kindergarten and those students that are new to the  school.    We ask that you fill out the attached link to the Google Form so we can provide your student with the correct size.

For those families who would like a replacement shirt, please fill out the Google Form and order your students T.E.A.M. shirt.  There is a $10 fee for each shirt.  This can be paid in cash or a check made out to St. Juliana.  After you fill out the Google Form, send your payment to your child’s homeroom teacher.  Be sure to have your child’s name and homeroom on the envelope.

The window to order a T.E.A.M. shirt is from Monday, Oct. 6th until Friday, October 17th.  The window will close at 7pm on the 17th.  At that time we will order the shirts and they will be passed out as soon as they arrive.  Your T.E.A.M. shirt order will not be processed until the fee is collected.

We appreciate your support and look forward to having another successful year of T.E.A.M.

Sincerely,

The T.E.A.M. Committee.

Update from the Principal

On Friday, we are kicking off our T.E.A.M. initiative in grades K-8.  The students are expected to wear their T.E.A.M. shirt from last year and ARE able to wear shorts or sweatpants.  If they do not have the T.E.A.M. shirt they should wear their gym uniform.

Sunday - 11am 1st Communion Mass. The following is from Mrs. Petrash (Religious Education Coordinator):

Dear Year 2 Families,

Next Sunday, October 5 at 11am Mass in the St. Juliana Church is the First Communion Acceptance Mass. During this regular Sunday Mass, all parents and children receiving their First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in 2026 will be called up to the altar to declare their willingness to learn more about the Eucharist as their wish for their child to prepare to receive the Eucharist. The priest will ask questions that declare this acceptance. Here are the questions and your responses. Please go over this with your child before next Sunday's Mass. This is also a time for the parish to show their support of their preparation and their promise to pray for your children. Families sit together in the congregation. There will not be a reserved seating section at church.

I hope to see all of you there. If you cannot make it to the Mass, that's ok but it is a special time for your child to realize that everyone is supporting them in their learning about our faith and this special sacrament.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Blessings,

Mary Petrash
