Kindergarten celebrates ABC Bootcamp!⠀ ⠀ Our kindergarten class spends the first twenty-six days reviewing the letters and sounds of the alphabet. Each day we make a circle map and a fun hat for a letter. We celebrate the completion of the alphabet with an ABC Bootcamp Fashion Show. Each child wears a vest and walks down the runway! We ended the event with a special snack.

This week in Mrs. Powell's kindergarten class, the students have been investigating and learning all about pumpkins! Today they did a special art project: they each painted their own mini pumpkin! The students loved using their creative side to decorate their pumpkins and look forward to bringing them home tomorrow to show their moms and dads!

The children used an invisible ink pen to write their numbers to 100, a magnifying glass to find the hidden numbers, and cups and plates to build a tower to hold 100 pennies. In the afternoon we had to count 100 Fruit Loops and complete fun centers. We solved the mystery clue and found a special from Zero the Hero!
