8th basketball girls
December was a busy month for the eighth graders. On December 4th they took the entrance exam at the Catholic high schools they plan to attend next year. They also collected money from students in all grades to donate to the parish sharing program. They collected more than $2,500.00! On December 15th we walked over to Saint Ben’s nursing home to deliver the Christmas packages that they, along with the sixth and seventh graders, had made for the residents. We were not able to engage with the residents as we have done in the past but the eighth graders sang a few carols in the lobby and left their gifts to be distributed.
