Reading - Reread Backpack Page 11 aloud several times. Continue to study for Thursday’s test. There is no school for students on Friday.

Math - Pages 9+10. A sheet with Math vocabulary words is going home today. Please review those words. We will be having a quiz on Wednesday covering lessons 1-5.

Also coming home are the first set of flashcards. These will be going home weekly for the next several weeks.  Please cut these carefully and practice daily Monday-Friday. Place in a ziploc bag and keep the flashcards at home. Have your child practice reciting the fact family on the back. Read the family sheet coming home discussing flashcards. The Parent Signature Sheet should be kept in the green folder (I suggest taping the top of it to the inside back of the green folder). Please sign/date the sheet daily. The practice and memorization of these facts will be helpful when timed-tests start in the winter.

Religion - We are discussing the Sacrament of Baptism. It would be nice to have a conversation with your child about their Baptism (the ceremony, Godparents, celebration, etc…)
