Donations Needed: Christmas Project for Saint Benedict Nursing Center

The sixth, seventh, and eighth graders will make gift boxes for about 140 residents of the home. These boxes will contain a craft item that the students will make, a pair of socks that they will purchase, and other donated items that the residents will enjoy. This is where we are asking for help from the parishioners.

If any of you have things that you can donate for these gift boxes, we would be most grateful. Items that would be most useful to us include:

  • Any individually wrapped candy
  • Small stuffed animals (such as Beanie Babies)
  • Toiletries such as tooth paste, lotions, etc
  • Decks of playing cards
  • Individually wrapped packs of cookies or snacks or anything that you think the elderly would enjoy receiving in a gift box from the junior high students.

If you are able to help us, please either send your donation to school with one of our students, drop it off at school, or drop it off at the parish business office and they will make sure that I receive it. We need these donations by

Monday, December 4th.

Thank you so much for your help!
