Week of December 4

Hello! November was a very crazy month! I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving. The holiday season is here! As always, I will give an update on what's happening with each grade and with Science Fair down below. Again, I apologize for missing a few posts, the Thanksgiving holiday got me off-track and then I had something personal come up that I had to take care of.

 

In sixth grade, we are continuing our unit on the solar system! We have our quiz today on the different models, and then we are starting our lesson on the sun today as well. I am planning to have our quiz on the sun this Friday, but I will update you if something changes with that. 

In seventh grade, we are wrapping up our discussion on meiosis this week, with our quiz on Wednesday. This is also the last lesson of Chapter 3, so there will either be a test or project (or both) coming up very soon. I haven't figured out all of the details for this yet, I will let you know as soon as I figure it out.

In eighth grade, we are continuing our lesson on work and power, with our quiz on Wednesday. After that, we will be jumping into our next lesson, which I am very excited about. 

In Science Fair, for seventh and eighth grade, we are working on the research paper right now. It is due this Friday, December 8, at 8am. If there are any questions or concerns about this, please let me know.
