6^th Grade

-        - We had a “quest” on the Origins of Civilizations (our first five lessons) and our first notebook check.

-         - We completed a DBQ about civilizations.

-        - Next week: The civilizations of Mesopotamia

7^th Grade

-        - We had our first quest and notebook check.

-        -We began our lesson on the Colonies

-        - Next week: Colonies brochure project due on Tuesday, 9/26 (100 points)

8^th Grade

-        -We examined and debated whether the biggest entrepreneurs of the late 19th and early 20th century were robber barons or captains of industry.

-        - We used primary sources to evaluate Thomas Edison’s impact on industrial America.

-        -Next week: Labor Unions
