6th Grade - - We learned the major accomplishments of the Shang Dynasty. - - We created museum exhibits showcasing three artifacts of the Shang Dynasty and we took a “field trip” to the museum to view the artifacts - - Next Week: The Zhou Dynasty and Chinese Philosophy |
7th Grade - - We learned how the differing viewpoints of Hamilton and Jefferson led to formation of political parties. - - We examined the significance of the elections of 1796 & 1800. - - Next Week: President Jefferson and the War of 1812. |
8th Grade - - We looked at key social changes that took place in the 1920s. - - We examined the main cultural trends of the 1920s. - - Next Week: the social problems of the 1920s and the Harlem Renaissance. |
