6^th Grade

-        - We learned how Egyptian social classes are structured like a period.

-        - We understood how social class affected daily life in ancient Egypt.

-        - Next week: Social Class group presentations and Ancient Egypt book project (150-point project due on 11/2).

7^th Grade

-         - We examined the events that led the colonists to declare their independence.  

-        - Next Week: the Declaration of Independence and battles of the American Revolution.

8^th Grade

-        - We followed the immigrant experience of a Russian family in An American Tail.

-        - Next week: The Progressive leaders

October 31- wear orange, black, and purple for Halloween!
