6^th Grade

-        - We examined documents to learn what made the Phoenicians excellent traders.

-        - We learned how geography affected settlement in Egypt.

-        - Next week: major accomplishments of Ancient Egyptians pharaohs.

7^th Grade

-        - We learned how the French and Indian War fueled the colonist’s desire for independence.

-        - We examined the Acts that were passed that upset the colonists.

-        - Next week: Taking up arms.

8^th Grade

-        - We learned the push and pull factors of different immigrant groups in the late 1800s.

-        - Next week: Immigration Scrapbook project (Due 10/17, 125 points)
