6^th Grade

-         - We examined the four governments of Ancient Greece.

-        - We used our knowledge of government in Ancient Greece to bust myths about Greek government.

-        - Next Week: Athens and Sparta

7^th Grade

-        - We learned how Texas gained its independence and what inspired Americans to settle the Oregon Territory.

-        - We traveled the Oregon trail learning of the many hardships encountered on the journey.

-        - Next Week: Group presentations on the motives, hardships, and legacies of the groups that moved West in the 1800s.

8^th Grade

-        - We examined the circumstances that led to World War II.

-        - We took a virtual field trip to the Pearl Harbor Memorial.

-        - Next Week: The Holocaust and the Homefront

March 5- Yearbook Photos for sports/activities (see information below)

March 11- No School

Notes:

Yearbook Photos Information

Please inform your students and families that they should come to school dressed in their team/activity uniform. 

Athletics should wear their team uniform(s). Student Activities should wear school/scout uniform(s). 

(If the Musical Cast and Crew have their special shirts, they are welcome to wear them.)

If a student participates in multiple sports/activities, they should come to school wearing the uniform for their FIRST sport/activity on the schedule and BRING the others to change into. 

Please allow your students time to change for their next photo after their previous photo is taken so they are ready.

The following list is a general idea of how students will be called down for pictures. It can be shared with students so they know which sport/activity they should come to school already dressed for and which to bring for changing into.
