Constitution Tests - 7th Grade
Constitution Tests
Today we began our unit on the US Constitution. We will begin the Illinois Constitution following the US test.
We prepare using “Our Federal and State Constitutions” (aka the blue Constitution book), published by AJS Publications.
All students must pass both the US and State Constitution tests with a 76% to graduate. Students who do not pass the first time, will retake a different version until they pass. However, the grade from the first test will remain their grade in PowerSchool.
Test Dates:
US Constitution test: Tuesday, December 5
Illinois Constitution Test: Tuesday, December 19
Below is the schedule of what we will be covering each day in class for both the US and Illinois Constitution. Students will have this schedule stapled in the front of their Constitution book and are expected to complete any work we cover in class if they are absent.
Every 7-8 units there will be a short quiz to ensure the students are studying along the way.
Please help your student study for quizzes and the tests. Typically, they get very worked up about the test, but do great!
Thank you,
Meredith Gierstorf
