6^th Grade

-        - We understood how social class affected daily life in ancient Egypt.

-        - We began our Ancient Egypt book project (150 points).

-        - Next week: book project due on Thursday.

7^th Grade

-        - We examined the strengths and weaknesses of the Continental Army at the beginning of the American Revolution.

-        - We learned the important battles and events of the Revolution.

-        - Next week: How Native Americans, women, and African Americans contributed to the American Revolution.

8^th Grade

-        - We examined primary sources to learn how Progressives pushed for reforms to problems caused by industrialization. 

-         - We created slide presentations on Progressive reformers.

-        - Next week: Quest on the Progressivism Friday.

10/30- SJS spirit wear

10/31- wear orange, black and purple for Halloween

11/2- 2:00 dismissal

11/10- no school
