            - We learned how Chinese philosophers tried to bring peace and order to society.

            -We Students wrote a postcard from the viewpoint of a Chinese philosopher visiting the USA.

7^th Grade

  - We learned the major achievements of Thomas Jefferson’s presidency.

        - We examined the causes and effects of the War of 1812.

            - Next Week: Quest on Thursday on the Early Republic.

8^th Grade

          - We analyzed primary sources to learn how the 1920s was also a period of chaos and controversy.

        - We learned how buying on credit contributed to the stock market crash in 1929.

         - Next Week: 1920s Newspaper Project (200 points)- due Wednesday, February 7.
