7th Grade - -We completed our study of Manifest Destiny with a DBQ and a quest. - - We looked at how industrialization impacted life in the North and South and examined the conditions in the Lowell Factory. - - Next Week: How African Americans faced slavery and discrimination in the mid-1800s

8th Grade - - We analyzed how the war was affecting American lives at home. - - We used examples of American families to learn about life on the home front. - - Next Week: Analyzing the use of the atomic bomb |
St. Juliana Information
Important Dates: Next week the PE students will be walking to and from Brooks Park for classes. All students must wear their PE uniforms (long pants). Please check the weather on the days your child has PE. If it is going to be chilly, please send your child to school wearing a jacket and if necessary, gloves and a hat. Please remind your child that they represent St. Juliana, and they are expected to walk on the sidewalk and be respectful to community members at the park.
